Culture and Human Being was a Persian language biannual journal presenting articles and reviews within the general field of anthropology, with special emphasis on Iran.
In every issue of F&E an important article of a founder of anthropology was translated, besides a recent article of the field. Anthropology in different countries was also a topic of interest to be introduced so it would be seen how in various countries this field was followed and practiced. Interviews took place with different anthropologists who had worked on Iran, so that their work would be more personally presented. Different issues of the journal were concentrated on various topics such as 2 and 14 on pastoral nomads, Addendum to the 1st issue was autobiography of a Bibi, or woman from the chief family of pastoral nomadic societies, 12 on peasant societies etc. Other addendums concerned urban, legal, medical, globalization and visual anthropology.
In these different issues we had a number of excellent translators and we compiled vocabulary of specific terms which were used so that the field would have its own dictionary of specific terms.
All the pictures which were presented in the journal were from the archives of the founder, unless otherwise stated.
